The purpose for which the corporation is organized is
to establish a foundation
1. To support projects that benefit the children at Kondwa Day
Centre for Orphans in Lusaka, Zambia.
2. To support the welfare of Zambian children living in poverty
through education, medical assistance, psycho-social interventions,
and the provision of food, shelter, clothing, educational facilities,
technology, and other material needs.
3. To improve the conditions in which Zambian children live
by facilitating long-term, sustainable economic stability for
them, their guardians, and their communities.
4. To build healthy, respectful cross-cultural relationships
of mutual benefit between Zambians and non-Zambians
5. To educate U. S. citizens about Zambia, with particular attention
to topics of direct bearing upon the living conditions of urban
orphans: history, culture, politics, economics, education, religion,
HIV/AIDS and other public health issues.
6. To remediate the impact of HIV/AIDS on Zambian children through
research, education, charitable relief, and prevention.
This corporation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable
and educational purposes within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code.
